This is the greenest and most direct way to submit music. We Only Take MP3s. Please include a free streaming link (Bandcamp or Soundcloud) and information about the artist. We’re most interested in local and Canadian releases but we do our best to listen to everything. Email your submissions to Aisia at music@citr.ca. PLEASE do not send attachments – free services like Dropbox or WeTransfer work great! Bandcamp Download Codes are also great! |
We do not accept physical submissions from non-local artists. Local artists are considered artists who are from and/or based in Vancouver and the surrounding municipalities. Musicians from Victoria Island, general British Columbia, and the Pacific Northwest will also be considered for physical submissions. Please avoid excess packaging. We are accepting submissions of fiction, prose, poetry, creative nonfiction, essays, comics, and diverse creative writing.
Submissions are free and open to everyone regardless of writing experience. Our priority is to provide a platform for creative writing that is inclusive, open, and accessible. It’s a space where writers celebrate, mourn, rage, and embrace.
